Servings: 1 person

Ingredients

  • 2 slider buns (mini burger buns)
  • 2 small beef patties (about 2 oz each)
  • 2 quail eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese (cut in half)
  • 1 leaf lettuce (split into two pieces)
  • 2 slices tomato
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: ketchup, mayonnaise, or mustard

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Patties: Season the mini beef patties with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 2–3 minutes per side until cooked through. In the last minute, place half a cheese slice on each patty to melt.

  2. Cook the Quail Eggs: In another small pan, melt the butter over low heat. Crack the quail eggs into the pan and fry sunny-side up until the whites are set but yolks are still soft, about 1–2 minutes.

  3. Assemble the Sliders: Toast the slider buns lightly if desired. Place a piece of lettuce and a tomato slice on the bottom half of each bun. Add the beef patty with melted cheese, then top with a fried quail egg.

  4. Top and Serve: Add any optional sauces if you like, place the bun tops on, and serve immediately.
