Bacon Wrapped Quail Eggs

Ingredients

  • 3 quail eggs
  • 3 slices of thin-cut bacon
  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • Toothpicks (for securing)

Instructions


  1. Prepare the Eggs: Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Gently add the quail eggs and boil for 2–3 minutes for soft-boiled, or 4 minutes for hard-boiled. Remove and cool in ice water.

  2. Peel the Eggs: Carefully crack and peel the quail eggs once cooled.

  3. Wrap with Bacon: Wrap each egg with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.

  4. Cook: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the bacon-wrapped eggs, turning often, until the bacon is crispy and cooked through (about 5–7 minutes).

  5. Season and Serve: Sprinkle lightly with freshly ground black pepper. Serve hot as a savory snack or appetizer.
